An itinerary among the Park flavours
Most of restaurants in TEA National Park are primarily patronized by locals moreso than tourists. Families (Italians include parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins to any degree and often friends) gather in small restaurants to enjoy a Sunday lunch, or to celebrate special occasions like graduations, birthdays, christenings and any good news. This means that food has to live up to the Italian family standard, and is thereby guaranteed to be both amazingly flavorful and cheap! Since they cater to families, all restaurants welcome children, often offering play areas or toys. In the park's restaurants, you can expect and enjoy truly homemade and custom prepared food and wine, all of which use fresh ingredients and traditional recipes that are only found in that very specific part of the Park.
Italy has always been synonymous with amazing cuisine. Italian cuisine is known for its simplicity and authenticity where each dish reflects the culture of its region. Restaurants in the TEA National Park take this to the next level by being home to so many food and wine producers. This allows the restaurants to create their dishes using fresh ingredients and regional products. On this page you'll find highlighted restaurants within the each of the municipalities of the Park. Each is unique and offers simple food made from the local products of the area.
The park is also home to two of the most famous products from Italy: Parmesan cheese and Prosciutto di Parma, both of which you can easily taste in most of the restaurants of the park.
