This is a comfortable lodge situated in the ancient Val Parma forest in an area characterized by many Apennine glacial lakes. It is a little more than an hour's drive from Parma and La Spezia and half an hour from Berceto (A15 PR-SP). The refuge has bedrooms with and without bathrooms and by including the use of an annex called "The House in the Woods" can accommodate 44 guests.
Car parking along the road to Lagdei plain is prohibited on the left side and, for the first 450 metres, on the right side, too, as indicated by the signals. Car parking on both sides of the Lagoni road is prohibited from the crossroads to Badignana until Lagoni. On holidays, Saturdays and Sundays during the month of August, camper vans may not travel on the road to Lagdei plain and on the Lagoni forest road.
