Civago
Civago, situated very near the ridge and a few steps from the high-altitude mountain huts, is a departure point of hikes and outings in the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park, which the hotel is the information point for. The village develops in hamlets rich in historical testimonies, surrounded by vegetable gardens, pastures and chestnut forests that were a source of income in the past and are still looked after.
The hamlets are linked one with the other through ancient paths that enable visitors to have restoring walks in the wood or to pick up mushrooms, chestnuts and blueberries; to swim in the Dolo river - which flows across the village in summer - or have a walk with the snowshoes in winter.
