Montagna Verde Farm Holiday Visitor Center

In the southern slopes of the Apennines overlooking the Apuan Alps, is the village of Apella and Montagna Verde. Its ancient tower is a beacon within the town, and is well known by its visitors. This visitor center has been the home of the Green Mountain Farm since its first opening in 1995. Guest rooms and studios have been restored to compliment the ancient village of Apella with a warm and cozy ambiance. The restaurant, La Torre, offers excellent cuisine through the use of traditional Lunigiana products. Guests can see the "Zero Km Menu" practices as they travel up the hill to the visitor center. The farm is at the foot of the hill, where there are animals and a garden. Love the ingredients used in the kitchen? Guests can buy the typical products such as honey, chestnuts of Lunigiana, chestnut flour, and corn flour. Guests are also invited to relax by the outdoor pool, go for a bike ride, or enjoy the trails and horseback routes.
