One of the most spectacular stretches of Tosco-Emiliano ridge develops around Mt. Sillano, between the 1,700 and 1,800m of altitude, facing Alpi Apuane and Garfagnana. The northern slope is characterized by the succession of large glacial cirques covered with bilberry heath and high-trunk beech wood you will cross during the outward journey.
