27 restaurants competing in the Park contest "Menu a Km Zero"

From 9th October to 14th November, the menu becomes local and seasonal

27 restaurants joined the 3rd Contest "Menu a Km Zero", organized by Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park in collaboration with the provincial federations of Coldiretti from Lucca, Massa Carrara, Parma, and Reggio Emilia.

4 restaurants will compete in the Province of Lucca, 7 in the Province of Massa Carrara, 3 in the Province of Parma, and 13 in the Province of Reggio Emilia, in a particular contest based on menus based on local and seasonal products coming exclusively from the territory of the 16 Park Municipalities.

Chestnut tagliatelle, mushroom soup, sgabei and characteristic cold cuts, wild boar and polenta made with otto file corn, pecorino cheese with honey, panna cotta with berries are just a few of the specialties that you will find in the menus in the period going from 9th October to 14th November.

Tourists and residents will therefore have a great opportunity to discover and taste our excellent foodstuffs and wine and gastronomy during this occasion promoting the short distribution chain, drawing up - and not only physically - producers, restaurants, and consumers.

The winners of the Contest will be chosen according to the results of the online voting on the website of the National Park, at the page http://www.parcoappennino.it/it/menuKm0-10.php where you will find all the details of the contest and the contacts of the restaurants joining it, that is:

in Giuncugnano, Trattoria Fernando and Locanda Il Castagno; in San Romano in Garfagnana Agriturismo Cerreto and Rifugio Miramonti; in Bagnone Il Giardino della Luna; in Comano, Miramonti; in Fivizzano, San Paolo; in Licciana Nardi, Agriturismo Montagna Verde, Osteria Boccondivino, CasteldelPiano, and Marina e Paolo; in Corniglio, Rifugio Lagdei and Da Vigion; in Monchio delle Corti, Prato Spilla; in Busana, Osteria Sparavalle; in Castelnovo ne' Monti, Agriturismo Il Ginepro and Onda della Pietra; in Ligonchio, Ristorante Del Lago, K2, and Rifugio Battisti; in Ramiseto, Agriturismo Valle dei Cavalieri and La Montanara; in Villa Minozzo, Contea d'Arwinghis, Country house Le Boccede, Dallo Zio, La Pioppa, and New Prampa.
