First Lunata on Easter eve

Tiptoeing in the forest, with its inhabitants and its legends, under the (almost) full moon

31 March 2018

The initiative is organised by: Guide Ambientali Escursionistiche

A Lunata is something in between a hike and a guided visit to discover the secrets of the forest of Upper Parma Valley, under the full (or almost full) moon, which always offers a spectacular sight.

Along the easy path, the moon seems to whisper the natural history of these mountains and their legends. Sometimes, the moon looks bright and clear; sometimes, just a few rays shine through the clouds, painting them silver and showing the way to the nearest portion of the ridge, from where we will admire the vast meadows of Mt. Tavola, the plain, and the upper Lunigiana.
