Within the Visitor Center it is possible to find and ask for more information and ideas on the Park and on the territory of Comano. For Laura and Umberto Ferrari, who run the hotel and the restaurant, from today also visitor center, hospitality and good cooking are a significant part of their family's history. At the beginning of the 20th century, the grandmother Adalgisa and her brother Silvio opened a first structure by the Cerreto Pass, when it was not supplied with electricity yet.

At that time the present building already was both a hotel and a restaurant, and it belonged to Aristede Brunelli, also called "Il Gallo" (meaning "The rooster"). "Cà del Gallo" was the only business equipped with a telephone, and in the structure also the tickets for the great ships going to America and Australia were sold. In 1960 the hotel was passed down to the Ferraris, and it was called Miramonti, as it is still called today. That of Silvio and Adalgisa is a family vocation: they had more than 5 brothers and sisters who opened other hotels and restaurants all around the world, such as the famous restaurant "Il Tartufo", in Lyon, France.
